The piece has 3 seams, 9 thumbprints, and does not have a start/ray in the center/base. The piece was hand pressed, and when done, it was painted/stained by hand.
As staining can be done at any time against the glass, variants are possible. Our standard colors reflect only those known to have been applyed by the manufacturer.
This was a part set called "T.V. Snack Set", (Catalog reference #597), which included a plain crystal 10 1/2" plate with receptacle, and this glass. It was introduced in 1960 and is believed to have only lasted for one or two years.
