This piece was manufactured by Indiana Glass Co. as part of the Kings Crown pattern, catalog number 77. Catalogs also provided the following description: 7 1/2 Oz, 5 3/4" high, 3" deep; 3" diameter.
The general dimensions of the piece are: 5 11/16" high, 3 1/8" open, 3" base
The piece has 2 seams, 8 thumbprints, and does not have a start/ray in the center/base. The piece was hand pressed, and when done, it was painted/stained by hand.
As staining can be done at any time against the glass, variants are possible. Our standard colors reflect only those known to have been applyed by the manufacturer.
There are 8 thumbprints around the primary band, and 2 seams.The Grecian Line, by Bob Rutherford, Decorating Supervisor for Indiana Glass, was never released to production.
